Calling Costa Rica - change in numbering and won't go through?

I get a recorded message that numbering in costa rica has changed so the standard 011 506 isn't working. Nor is +506.

yes I麓m from here.... Costa Rican telephone users rate grew so there were not enough numbers, so they converted the numbers from a six digit to a seven digit number.


The only thing that you have to do is put an extra 2 %26gt;(if it a house number or commercial number) BEFORE the number or an extra 8 (if its a cell phone)








So it麓s like this:


506+2+number


or


506+8+number
