what type of unit (inf,armored,Cav,) and battalion,or squadron.The


right side would be company ,troop,battery, and vehicle number,some

If you're referring to vehicle markings, those are unit identifiers.





But if you mean model/type, then those are sequential and amended with an letter+# when improvements are made.
