When adding page numbers to a Word document, can you make it start the numbering from something else besides';1?

i am printing out a document





this document is the continuation of sometihng else, so it needs to continue with the page numbesr








(1st document -- ive already printed it out) pages 1 - 50





2nd document -- i want to print this out, can i make it automatically print out with page numbers in the bottom right hand corner, with numbers starting from 51??

This way. Note: These two methods expect the page number to have already been placed in the header or footer. This just changes its starting number.





In versions of Word prior to Word 2007:





1. Click the Insert-%26gt;Page Number menu item.


2. Click the Format button.


3. Put the 51 in the Start At combination box.


4. OK out of everything.





In Word 2007:





1. Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon.


2. Click the Page Number button in the Header and Footer group.


3. Click Format Page Numbers.


4. Continue as in Step 3, above.
