What are some ideas for ';numbering'; or naming the tables at my wedding?

I am having a home themed wedding! What are some ideas for ';numbering'; or naming the tables at my wedding?
That is really cute. You could use different names of rooms.

Parlor

Library

Kitchen

Dining

Bedroom A, 1, etc.

Den

Relaxation/Spa Room

We went with a beach theme so we named our tables after beaches we've been to and want to go to.

*Assigned seating makes it easier for meals but you can always have cards for the meals that people can take when they go to sit down.

We did assigned seating and it worked out fairly well. We had a family not show up and it left 2 people on their own. They were all family though so..What are some ideas for ';numbering'; or naming the tables at my wedding?
dont number the tables. Name the tables with people you want to seat together. Divide the floor. The left side with his family and the right side with yur family members.

If you dont have more than 10-12 children attending, sit them all together at one table.

I did this for my wedding and it was great. Oh, one more thing. I sat my parents and his parents, my grandparents and his grandparents together at one table on my side of the family.
At my son's wedding they had a picture at the table of the two of them at different places and named them accordingly. It was very cute.

Different vacation spots, football stadiums, social events, etc. Then if there were certain people associated with the theme of the table they were sat there.

It was kind of fun.
Go with something personal to either you, your fiancee, or as a couple.

Possible ideas could be favourite movies, favourite cities/countries, types of car, different planets, or perhaps characters from a book/movie.
You can use a plant as a centerpiece and name the table after it: herbs (basil table, mint table) or tropical flowers (ginger table, fuchsia table) or use centerpiece colors to complement jewels (sapphire table, emerald table).
Just don't. Let ADULTS sit where they want to sit...
