In Excel 2007, how do I make it so that the row numbering will start on the second row?

Because the first row is used as a header and I don't want that row to be named number 1.In Excel 2007, how do I make it so that the row numbering will start on the second row?
excel wont let you change the row numbers.

row 1 will always be row1

whats wrong with starting at row 2?

the only thing you can really do is change your view. i dont reccomend this, because i dont use it very often...but heres an option you can look at real quick.

- click View (towards the far right of the menu names)

- click Page Layout (2nd icon on left)

- this will change the view

- you can click the ';click to add header'; box at the top, and you can start typing in the top middle.

- if you want to type in the header on the left or right, just click in the empty white space, and the text box will move. and you can type in it.

then just as quickly, click the normal icon on the far left.
