Yes you can. You just need to click the box that says ';Different first page';
File / Page Setup / Layout / Different first page
Alternatively insert a section and start new from that sectionMicrosoft word help - how do you start numbering the pages from the second page?
On the second page:
View%26gt;Header/Footer%26gt;Page Setup%26gt;Layout Tab%26gt;Check ';Different from first page';.

hi there:
what you got-to do is once you have done your document, go to insert at the top of your toolbar, insert page numbers. decide where you want it, and then unselect show number on first page. go to format, at the bottom of this box start at: put in the No '0' and walla!
Microsoft? huh? Is it a kind of food? just kidding of course it is not!
EDIT: Ah!? common! have a little bit sense of humor! thumbs down!?
Sure, that is easy, follow this step
1. within Ms word, select Page setup from the File menu;
2. at the page setup dialog, navigate to Layout tab;
3. under headers and footers option, click check box at “Different first page”
Good luck
