I know New Balance has a different number for each model and that they produce shoes of all shapes and sizes. I was wondering whether 700s are meant for one thing and 300s were meant for another, etc. Or maybe the numbering system is just random? Can anyone help me out?
Thanks! How does New Balance's numbering system work? Are all 700s, for example, a specific type of running shoe?
They inititally just pick a number and the next shoe in that series or it's replacement has a higher number.
If you want a particular running shoe, just go to the New Balance website and click on which type you want and it will find it for you. http://www.newbalance.comHow does New Balance's numbering system work? Are all 700s, for example, a specific type of running shoe?
My podiatrist said the higher the number the better the support. He said anything below 700 is junk, no support. Report Abuse
I always thought it was related to the retail price. The higher the price, the higher the number.
