How can I insert 2 different format types of page numbering on the same document?

For example, i want the first 10 pages to be roman numerals and the rest to be 1,2,3,4...How can I insert 2 different format types of page numbering on the same document?
At the bottom of the last page with Roman numerals, insert a section break-next page. Then on the first Arabic numeral page (that the 1, 2, 3 numbers) edit the header, and deselect the icon with the 2 little pages side by side (4th from the right, I think). That'll make the header from that page on not the same as the header on the previous pages. (Header and footer - you can't do one without the other, so if you want the footer to be the same for the whole document, copy the first header and paste it into the second header.)How can I insert 2 different format types of page numbering on the same document?
Click your mouse then drag down to highlight the portion you want one format then let go of the mouse, then do the same for the other portion that will work...highlight the Numbers that you want to be roman then change it then change the others to the regular Numbers
