That IS NOT a UK mobile number. It is an international call forwarding number.





Any number with +4470xxx is a redirect number that forwards your call overseas and is almost always used by Nigerian or Eastern European scammers. You will be charged a premium rate for calling this number, not standard UK dialing rates. And due to privacy laws, there is no way for you to find out who or where this number is being directed to





If you are calling about a job offer, lottery winnings, inheritance or being asked to send money to any person you have never physically met, you are being scammed





Do not provide these people with any personal or passport details. They are out to steal your money and your identity





The number probably doesn't work if the police have been involved. Chances are this person used this number to scam someone else out of money, so the police have shut down that number. But these criminals just set up a new number
